Shontelle Mapson, Board Member
Shontelle Mapson serves on the Eye Housing Solutions Board of Directors, bringing over 15 years of experience as a Reading Specialist and Interventionist in elementary and middle school settings.
Recognized as Teacher of the Week by the News-Gazette, she is known for her expertise in literacy intervention, dyslexia support, ESL, and mentoring both students and educators.
Her background in education and collaboration equips her to support Eye Housing Solutions’ mission of creating communities where families can thrive through access to opportunity, stability, and growth.
La’Shawn Jones, Board Member
La’Shawn Jones serves on the Eye Housing Solutions Board of Directors, bringing more than a decade of experience caring for seniors and adults with disabilities in the St. Louis region.
She has worked with organizations including Certified Care Management, Luther Senior Services, Brookdale Senior Living, and Easterseals Midwest, delivering personalized care, administering medications, and supporting clients’ dignity and independence.
Her expertise in individualized care planning and advocacy helps guide Eye Housing Solutions’ mission to expand equitable housing opportunities that prioritize accessibility, wellness, and community connection.
James Crockett, Board Member
James Crockett serves on the Eye Housing Solutions Board of Directors and works as an EHR Application Specialist, bringing expertise in technology systems that support healthcare and organizational efficiency.
He is an active member of ISACA and ISSA, reflecting his commitment to advancing best practices in information security and technology.
His technical insight and problem-solving skills strengthen Eye Housing Solutions’ capacity to build sustainable, resident-centered housing communities.
